FAVBET Group of Companies officially confirmed the delays in customer payments and stated that the reason is the pressure of the Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Danylo Hetmantsev, on partner banks. In a statement posted on Instagram, FAVBET claims that banking institutions received «unlawful demands» from Hetmantsev to stop servicing the company’s payments for customer transactions, which is why withdrawals are currently blocked.
Despite this, the operator emphasizes that users' money is stored in client accounts, is «untouchable» and will be paid out immediately after the payment channels are unblocked. In parallel, FAVBET is testing manual refund mechanisms, which, according to the company, should allow some payments to be made even under restrictions.
Separately, the company is responding to a wave of fakes and rumors about an allegedly illegal restart of the service. The appeal notes that such «showers» are untrue, contradict the brand’s principles, and FAVBET itself operates exclusively within the framework of Ukrainian legislation, adheres to licensing conditions and responsible gaming standards, and «does not carry out any activities outside the legal framework.»
The operator’s partners also received a separate letter from Hylad Solutions LLC, which is responsible for placing online advertising. In the document, the company reports «sudden technical and administrative restrictions» on the use of its own bank accounts and requests a temporary postponement of payment obligations under the contract for online advertising services dated May 1, 2025.
«Hylad Solutions» assures that after the restrictions are lifted, all economic and financial obligations will be fulfilled in full and without delay. FAVBET emphasizes that it is focused on the legal settlement of the situation, the restoration of stable service operations and the protection of customer rights, and urges users and partners to rely only on official communication channels.
Previously, dev.ua wrote about how, according to the head of the Finance Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Danylo Getmantsev, the Bureau of Economic Security launched an investigation at the end of September into signs of tax evasion by Favbet and other participants in the gambling market.
