Google has launched personalized suggestions in AI Mode. The system now offers individual queries to artificial intelligence based on the user's previous search activity. The innovation is already working in the beta version of the Google app 16.24 on Android and iOS.
As 9to5Google reports , previously all AI Mode users were shown the same examples of interactions. Now Google is tweaking personalized recommendations based on what a person has previously searched for. The suggestions are automatically updated when you open the “Meet AI Mode” section in the app, via the search widget, or the Pixel Launcher shortcut.
The tool became available after the Google I/O 2025 conference, where the company announced the expansion of AI Mode functionality for users in the US. This is part of a general transition from classic search results to a generative interface that summarizes answers to queries in a single block.
AI Mode allows you to not only find information, but also ask more complex questions. For example, create comparative tables, request idea generation, summaries from multiple sources, or analyze specific topics.
Previously, Google had already begun testing voice interaction with AI Mode (audio-only search), the ability to build financial charts, and adding an AI assistant to Android context menus.
The personalized suggestions feature is expected to help speed up users' adoption of the new search format while also collecting more data to train models. No launch date has been announced outside the US yet.
