Google has begun rolling out the «Personalized Intelligence» feature in Gemini in Ukraine, which allows the assistant to work with user data from various company services.
As Google reports on its blog, the feature allows you to connect Gmail, Google Photos, YouTube, and Search, after which Gemini can use this data to answer queries. The user chooses which services to integrate, and access to them is disabled by default.
In fact, it is about moving from general responses to personalized ones. For example, Gemini can find specific details in letters or photos, combine information from different sources and generate individual responses to a request.
Google specifically emphasizes that the feature is built with privacy in mind. Data from connected services is used only to fulfill specific requests and is not used to train the model directly. The user can also disable integrations or delete chat history at any time.
Additional features include explanation of the sources of the response and the ability to regenerate it without personalization. Temporary chats that do not store history are available for sensitive scenarios.
The feature is currently available to users with Google AI Plus, Pro, or Ultra subscriptions, but the company says it will expand the feature to the free version of Gemini in the coming weeks.
The launch of this feature in Ukraine means that local users receive the same level of service integration that was previously tested in other markets, including the US.
Previously, dev.ua Google opened new migration tools for Gemini, which allow you to transfer to the service not only the history of communication with other AI assistants, but also the context they collect about the user.
