Ukrainian startup Liki24, which already operates in nine countries and offers users a medicine delivery service, has attracted $9 million in investment from a number of funds.
In the Series A round, the startup was supported by Ukrainian funds u.ventures, TA Ventures, iClub, N1 Ventures, SID Venture Partners, DniproVC, Kazakhstani MA7 Ventures, as well as Anton Borzov, the first product designer of WhatsApp.
The investments should be used to launch the service in several more European locations, as well as to technically improve the drug ordering platform itself.
Let us remind you that, in addition to Ukraine, Liki24 has already launched in Italy, Germany, Romania, France, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Spain. Currently, according to the company itself, European locations bring in 60% of all revenue.
“We are proud to have raised a full Series A round from strong international investors. For us, this is a big step towards becoming the number one health marketplace in Europe,” says Anton Avrynsky, CEO and co-founder of Liki24.com. “We have already proven that we can grow effectively, now it’s time to scale.”
As we wrote, Liki24 is a platform for searching, comparing prices, and fast or scheduled delivery of medicines. The company was founded in 2017 by Anton Avrynskyi and his associates. At the very beginning of its activity, Liki24.com attracted investments from leading venture funds in Ukraine — Horizon Capital, Flyer One Ventures, TA Ventures, as well as a number of business angels for a total amount of about $6 million.
