Ukrainian logistics group Meest has begun developing a new direction in North America: its Canadian division has launched domestic delivery across Canada under the name Meest Domestic.
Meest Canada, part of the international postal and logistics group Meest, has announced the launch of a new service — domestic courier delivery of parcels across Canada. For the first time in the division’s history, the service allows you to send items not only abroad, but also within the country — between any settlements. This is stated in the company’s press release.
The new Meest Domestic service operates in a door-to-door format. The user can place an order online, calculate the cost of delivery, order a courier to pick up the package, and track the package in the mobile application. Support is available in several languages (English, French, Ukrainian), which is especially convenient for immigrants.
A little more about Meest Canada
This company is part of the global logistics group Meest, founded in Lviv in 1989 by entrepreneur Rostyslav Kisil. The group operates in over 90 countries around the world and combines the services of Meest Cargo, Meest Shopping, Meest Europe, Meest China, Meest USA. Before launching domestic delivery, Meest Canada specialized in delivery from Canada to Ukraine and other countries.
The maximum weight of the shipment is up to 60 kg, typical dimensions do not exceed 80×80×80 cm. Delivery is available for both private customers and businesses — for example, sellers from online stores, students, artisans, and small and medium-sized businesses.
«We want to make domestic logistics in Canada as comfortable as international logistics. Now is the time when transparency of service, speed and convenience are the main expectations of the client,» explained Ivan Marchenko, Operations Director of Meest Canada.
The company indicates that the new service is especially useful for those who regularly send gifts, goods, documents, equipment or personal belongings to relatives, friends or clients in different provinces.
We also previously wrote that in most European countries you can now take advantage of the delivery of purchases from the world’s leading online stores using the Ukrainian service Meest Shopping, which is part of the international postal and logistics company Meest Group.
