The girl says that she found the unit that was at the forefront of the war through her friend. She then underwent basic military training and signed a contract with the 25th Sicheslav Brigade.
For six months now, together with other engineers and technicians, Marina has been disassembling, soldering, and repairing drones and their remote controls in a mobile workshop. During an interview, the girl tells how she modifies the remote control so that wires can be attached to the antennas and the drone can be controlled from cover. Marina’s commander says that the girl’s eyes are burning.
In fact, according to the head of the drone workshop of the 25th separate airborne Sicheslav brigade «Mazura», he even has two girls under his command. However, the second craftswoman, Yana, did not want to talk about herself.
«There are a lot of tasks in them, but the most interesting thing is to make this „bird“, which is already seemingly dead, come to life and fly and destroy the enemies,» says «Mazur.»
Marina and Yana also speak English and communicate well with the international community, which continues to assist the 25th Sicheslav Brigade.
The 25th Sicheslavskaya has a full cycle of drone handling — in addition to repairs, there is a laboratory for improving drones, remote controls, and ammunition. Engineers provide their own and other brigades fighting in the Pokrovsky direction with the necessary equipment.
