This was announced by representatives of the Ministry of Defense during the Brave1 forum «Decisive Innovations», Mezha.media reports .
According to Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal, all Russian weapons captured at the front should be analyzed centrally and transparently, without intermediaries and the «black market.» As part of the project, the military also plans to provide Ukrainian companies that pass the inspection with access to full Soviet and Russian blueprints. «Our developments will also be open to a range of domestic companies to accelerate joint work,» the minister explained.
Deputy Defense Minister Yuriy Myronenko clarified that it is about creating a single data collection point where you can research what communication systems, explosives, or electronics the enemy is using in order to immediately design solutions for their neutralization. The presentation discussed the «trophy analysis laboratory» as a way to overcome competition between military structures for access to captured equipment.
This is not the first initiative of the Ministry of Defense to systematize data on Russian weapons. Earlier, on December 1, 2024, the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine presented the War&Sanctions platform. Over the year, nine sections appeared there: from the database of «child abductors» and components in weapons to lists of Russian defense industry companies and Kremlin propagandists.
GUR emphasizes that War&Sanctions brings together tens of thousands of subjects and objects that directly fuel Russia’s war against Ukraine.
