Monobank has started testing a web version of its marketplace. The first products can already be seen on a separate website, although there is no full functionality for online purchases yet.
Monobank has started testing a web version of its marketplace. The first products can already be seen on a separate website, although there is no full functionality for online purchases yet.
As reported by KOSHT, the bank bought the domain monomarket.com.ua and began to place the first products on it. As of now, only elements of its own merch are available: paintings by numbers and branded Mono stickers. To place an order, the buyer needs to scan the QR code on the page, which will take you to the Monobank application — there is no classic shopping cart.
The pages have vertical scrolling and a structure similar to the Market section in the mobile app. The main domain itself redirects users to the Monobank website, but specific product pages operate separately.
These changes are part of a larger effort by Monobank to expand the reach of its marketplace. Previously, its functionality was limited to the app, and therefore only to the bank’s customers. This made it difficult to promote products, including on social media, and prevented the platform from being brought to a wider market.
Interestingly, until the spring of 2025, the domain monomarket.com.ua belonged to an Odessa children’s goods store. According to open data, it was registered back in the fall of 2024. In April 2025, the information about the domain was updated, and it is now tied to Monobank. The old store moved to demomarket.com.ua, which was registered on April 12. In a telephone conversation, the former owner confirmed the sale of the domain, but refrained from further comments.
Monobank also did not comment on the launch of the web version of Market.
The Market marketplace in the Monobank mobile application appeared in the fall of 2024. Initially, there were only three categories: gadgets, electronics and computer equipment — from partners Moyo, KTS and Click. Later, Foxtrot, iSpace and Citrus joined the platform. The launch of the web version may be a step towards Monobank’s full-fledged entry into the e-commerce market beyond its client base.
