According to vato bloggers, the problems with Starlink are not local in nature, but cover significant areas of the front line. Reports indicate a complete loss of signal or work with critical interruptions, which directly affects communications and command of units.

The same posts acknowledge that there is no full-fledged alternative to satellite Internet in the Russian army, and a significant part of combat control was tied to Starlink.
In parallel, a senior lieutenant of the Ukrainian Defense Forces with the call sign «Alex» warned against simplistic conclusions and confirmed that disruptions are also possible on the Ukrainian side. According to him, in general, the system is working, but problems are being recorded by some users, and there is no clear pattern yet.

Starlink has long remained a key communication channel for commanding units and drones due to its resistance to electronic jamming. Ukraine is also introducing a «whitelist» mechanism to limit unauthorized use of terminals. During the implementation phase, this may create instability in the operation of individual devices, as confirmed by the Ukrainian military.
