Nova Poshta is changing its CEO: Yevhen Tafiychuk will become CEO from January 1, 2026
The company announced a planned change in top management: until the end of 2025, Nova Poshta will be headed by Oleksandr Bulba, and from January 1, 2026, the current Chief Operating Officer Yevhen Tafiychuk will take over the position of General Director.
The company announced a planned change in top management: until the end of 2025, Nova Poshta will be headed by Oleksandr Bulba, and from January 1, 2026, the current Chief Operating Officer Yevhen Tafiychuk will take over the position of General Director.
As the company reports on its Telegram channel, an open selection was held, more than 20 applicants were considered. Three reached the final: two external and one internal. Nova Poshta co-owner Vyacheslav Klymov explained the decision by saying that the elected leader «grew up within the company, knows the processes well and has a clear vision of development.» Yevhen Tafiychuk assured in his first comment: strategic priorities do not change: speed, simplicity and security of the service, the course for development in Ukraine and beyond remains.
Who is Yevhen Tafiychuk?
At Novaya Poshta since 2012: started as a loader, a year later received his first management position. Then he was responsible for operational transformation: updating the courier delivery model, expanding the branch network, increasing the speed of processing shipments. In 2021–2024, he worked as an operations director in the Ukrainian business and in the European division.
The company is directly talking about a «battle pass», not about a change of course. The immediate focus is stable delivery times, convenience in the application and on the website, further development of the network and international direction. An internal successor to the CEO position is a typical practice for service companies with a large operating room: such a step reduces risks for daily work and allows you to maintain the established standards.
By the end of the year, Bulba and Tafiychuk will work together, synchronizing decisions regarding production sites, logistics routes, and branch operations. For customers, the change is imperceptible: tariffs, service rules, and support channels remain in effect.
Nova Poshta is a key player in the Ukrainian express delivery market and one of the largest private employers. During a full-scale war, the company maintained its network, expanded its infrastructure, increased the resilience of sorting centers, and launched an international direction in the EU countries. The appointment of a CEO from the operating unit signals a commitment to continuous development and scaling.
Previously, dev.ua reported that Inna Khomych, Chief Legal Officer at Nova Poshta, announced that she had completed her work at NOVA Group. She joins the growing list of top managers at the company who have left their positions in the past few months.
