Oleksandr Bornyakov believes that the Ukrainian IT market is not very involved in "defense"

«Perhaps not very diplomatically, but not very (involved in the defense industry — ed.),» noted Oleksandr Bornyakov, answering questions from the co-founder of the Dignitas Foundation and the head of Victory Drones.
According to him, there are businesses that have become very involved, sometimes even whole teams, allocating an entire direction for defense tasks. However, most do not.
Mykhailo Fedorov’s deputy noted that he sees several reasons for this.
«Some people think: 'Why, the war will end and who will need it,'» Bornyakov gives an example of how people think. Although the deputy minister himself emphasizes that IT companies should pay attention to this. In addition, he emphasized that Mykhailo Fedorov personally gathered the IT community several times, urging them to invest in defense technologies, and promised such enterprises support.
Bornyakov added that there is feedback, and there are companies that invest in «defense», but there are not many of them. «I see it as dozens, and we have thousands of companies,» he notes.
Arguing his position, the deputy minister emphasizes that the war will not end. «It definitely won’t be — victory, all future generations live peacefully and pink ponies,» he adds.
