During an online consultation on the creation of the State Online Monitoring System, Tomashuk stated that the main goal of the initiative is to establish effective interaction between state bodies and business.
«This is more control for the state and openness for business,» Tomashuk explained. According to him, the system will allow tax authorities to process data from operators more efficiently, and for the operators themselves to ensure that inspections are based on accurate analytics, rather than arbitrary intervention.»
Also, according to the developers, the system will be able to help detect signs of gaming addiction: in the future, it is possible to implement algorithms that will record risky behavior of players and signal it to the organizers. The state system for online monitoring of the gambling market is being developed as part of the strategy for digitalizing the industry under martial law. It should ensure transparency of cash flows, reduce the space for shadow schemes and allow tax authorities to perform their functions more effectively. The new infrastructure is designed to replace manual reporting and create a single standard for digital control over the gambling industry.
