A new tool has been launched in Ukraine that allows users to check the legality of online casinos and file complaints about illegal resources. The service should help block shady sites faster.
As reported in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Illegal Website Tracking System allows you to check the casino domain, notify the regulator of violations, file a complaint against a provider that does not block prohibited resources, or download the current database of «black» sites.
PlayCity notes that the system also detects copies of banned platforms and related domains to prevent unscrupulous operators from bypassing the block.
Currently, thousands of online casinos operate illegally in Ukraine, and they form a shadow segment that does not pay taxes and exposes users to risks. The launch of the system should help clean up the market and create conditions under which only licensed operators will operate.
The service is already available at monitoring.pc.gov.ua. It can be used by both citizens and providers to quickly block illegal resources.
The gambling market in Ukraine is undergoing reform. New advertising rules have been in effect since April 2025, and the parliament is considering bills that should further regulate activities in this area. The launch of a public tracking system is the next step in the fight against the shadow segment, which still accounts for a significant share of the online market.
