According to the Poster press release, the logic is simple: the user writes a question in plain language in the office, and Postie AI itself pulls data from the institution’s account, summarizes it in an understandable format, builds graphs, models various scenarios and offers recommendations. The company says that this way, owners do not need to waste time manually searching for numbers in various reports, setting filters and separate analytical tools.
In the examples, Poster mentions requests for which items should be reviewed for prices in order to keep food costs within the specified limits at the end of the month. Postie AI can calculate how the financial result will change if the price of a particular dish is increased by a certain percentage, or offer a set of items for a business lunch at a given price and cost limits. The system also helps to compare the frequency of visits of different groups of guests and analyze staff efficiency.
Poster CEO and co-founder Rodion Yeroshek said in a press release that the company wants to change the way businesses and stores approach data, transforming the system from an accounting tool to a consultable assistant. Representatives of businesses cited by Poster say the value lies in being able to ask follow-up questions and quickly get not just numbers but also actionable insights.
Poster is developing an ecosystem for HoReCa and retail, which includes cash register, inventory accounting, CRM, financial reports, QR menus and payments, delivery, software PPO and Postie AI. The company reports more than 25,000 customers in 100 countries, 20,000 of them in Ukraine. During beta testing, analytical reports in Postie AI are generated for free.
