«His leadership and management of the team of IT specialists in the process of successfully migrating our IT infrastructure to the cloud in the early days of a full-scale invasion will remain an outstanding achievement in the history of both PrivatBank and the entire banking sector,» the PrivatBank Supervisory Board said, thanking Mariusz Kaczmarek for his dedication.
The bank reported that Kaczmarek has worked at the institution for the past five years, during which he combined the duties of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO).
PrivatBank will continue the competitive selection procedure for the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board (for digital transformation). Until its completion and approval of the candidate, the duties of Head of IT Directorates, Information Security Direction and Remote Customer Support Directorate will be performed by Mikael Björknert.
