According to military expert and signalman Sergey "Flash" Bezkrestnov, for some time electronic warfare fighters considered this behavior of the "Shahedi" to be their merit.
"In fact, this is not our electronic warfare, nor a decoy for air defense, nor the expectation of other Shaheds, nor a failure of the Shahed program," the expert wrote in his Telegram channel.
"Flash" believes that these are Shahedi radio repeaters of the Mesh network.
“Its task is to fly away from the border and relay the control channel from Russia deep into our country for other Shahed,” the expert explains.
In his opinion, such drones should be shot down first, although perhaps, at first glance, they seem like a "harmless and stupid target."
Previously, Serhiy "Flash" Bezkrestnov told how the " Shahedy" counter Ukrainian electronic warfare systems and what can be done about it.
He also reported on a Russian experimental circular-wing drone that was spotted over the front lines in October. The device can perform both reconnaissance and strike missions.
