The Security Service of Ukraine showed unique videos of the destruction of Russian strategic aviation aircraft — the result of a large-scale special operation «Web», which was personally supervised by President Zelensky and the head of the agency, Vasyl Malyuk.
As the SBU reports on its Telegram channel, this is a striking strike on four key enemy air bases: «Olenya», «Ivanovo», «Dyagilevo» and «Belaya». It was on these facilities that the Russian strategic aviation was based, which regularly carries out attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine. Today, representatives of the special service published unique video excerpts from the attack that took place on June 1.
According to the Service, 41 aircraft were destroyed or significantly damaged, including the A-50, Tu-95, Tu-160, Tu-22M3, An-12, and Il-78. Some of the aircraft were destroyed beyond repair, and the repair of others could take years. The total losses of Russian aviation equipment are estimated at over $7 billion.
During the operation, a modern drone control system was used, which combines autonomous artificial intelligence algorithms with the possibility of manual control by the operator.
Breakthrough of Ukrainian special services
The Russian Federation’s strategic aviation is one of the key instruments of missile terror against Ukraine. The disabling of dozens of such aircraft not only causes large-scale technical damage to the enemy, but also has a significant moral and psychological effect. The unique footage, which the SBU has made public for the first time, confirms the technological breakthrough of Ukrainian special services in modern warfare.
The operation was personally implemented by the Head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk. It used the latest drone control technologies: the devices worked in autonomous mode thanks to artificial intelligence algorithms that activated the warhead even after losing contact with the operator.
We previously reported that AI drones were used to strike Russian air bases. They were trained on Soviet-era bombers stored in Ukrainian military museums.
The attack on the Crimean bridge was probably caused by the submarine «Marichka». We remind you what this development is and what the weapon with a female name is capable of
