«This is a relaxing building game with a unique art style. Immerse yourself in relaxing drawing during the day and defend your city at night,» the project description says.
The visual style of Scribed Castle is inspired by illustrations from medieval manuscripts, which have already served as the basis for video games, in particular the turn-based strategy game Inkulinati. The Ukrainian project is created in the genre of city-building, where players need to use a special drawing mechanism and assemble pre-made structures.

Scribed Castle features several types of buildings — some essential for the economy, others just for decoration. The game will also feature different types of units, including peasants for working in the fields and knights for protection.
Scribed Castle is scheduled for release in 2026; the game is already available to wishlist onSteam .
