Fint8 co-founder sells his stake to FRACTAL group and prepares new project "Capital"
Fint8 co-founder Anton Shulyk has sold his stake in the CFO service to FRACTAL Group (ex-Netpeak Group) and is stepping down from operational management of the company. After the deal, he will focus on investment projects for large businesses and launching an educational program on financial thinking for entrepreneurs.
The company announced the deal in a press release, and Shulyk himself later confirmed it in a Facebook post. He recalled that five years ago he left corporate management, registered a sole proprietorship, and gradually transformed his personal practice into Fint8, a virtual CFO service that currently works with entrepreneurs from Ukraine to the United States.
During this time, Fint8 has grown to a team of 12 financiers, implemented over 90 projects, and brought the group’s consolidated revenue to about $500,000 per year. According to Shulyk, the company needs the next stage — scaling and strengthening through a strategic partner. This is exactly what, in his opinion, the agreement with FRACTAL provides: Fint8 gains access to the group’s ecosystem — from marketing and recruiting to legal and financial support.
After the deal closes, Fint8 will become part of the Core consulting division within FRACTAL and will operate as a separate unit. Operational management will remain with the company’s co-owner and current CEO, Andriy Tertyshnyk, who will continue to work closely with Core CEO Nadia Vildyaeva. The parties are not disclosing the acquisition amount, the market operates only with approximate estimates.
Shulyk himself calls the deal the logical conclusion of the first cycle: from business launch to exit during a full-scale war. Next, he plans to focus on projects for owners of large businesses: helping to build companies with transparent management, scale, and understandable capitalization, which can be realized through sale or attracting investors. A separate direction is an educational program for the development of financial thinking and competencies for owners of small and medium-sized businesses, which he is already announcing under the name «Capital.»
For FRACTAL, this deal strengthens the Core consulting unit, which already provides service functions (HR, finance, recruiting, legal support, accounting) for several dozen companies in the group. For Fint8, this is a chance to accelerate scaling in the Ukrainian and international markets, remaining in the niche of financial consulting and FP&A for businesses with a turnover of several million dollars.
