A post by user @buniak_roma went viral on Threads, showing a test task for a content manager vacancy at ROZETKA with a salary of 14,000–20,000 UAH.
Screenshots of the test quickly spread across social media and garnered dozens of comments — from jokes about the «exam in electrical engineering» to discussions about whether such requirements are adequate for a position with such a salary.
The tasks include logic problems, determining product characteristics, questions about product categorization, and basic image skills.

«Determine the characteristics of the products? What are they smoking, I also want to get rid of them 🙂,» wrote user @dinanechi. «ZNO in rosette science,» joked @ttkachenkoff.ai.
«I thought the content manager should be given full product specifications as needed, not have to calculate them himself,» @lyuba_moskalenko was outraged, tagging the official account @rozetkaua.
Separately, users were surprised by the salary level. Some commentators noted that ROZETKA offered similar amounts a few years ago. «In 2021, there was also a salary of 12–14k for this position,» wrote @soulover.music.
At the same time, there were also those in the comments who came to the company’s defense. Some users explained that a content manager in a large e-commerce company is not about «writing texts,» but actually manually structuring and moderating large amounts of product data.
«For some companies, content management is about filling the site with products. There, the description really plays a role and this knowledge is needed,» noted @hope_yya.
Former employees also said that the work often involves searching for product characteristics, working with photos, moderating cards, and strictly adhering to internal design rules.
«Our product was sold on ROZETKA — I f*cked with them every day, because they refused to moderate there for missing commas,» shared @soulover.music.
The discussion also touched on the topic of modern hiring: users compared the test with cognitive tests, joked about «Einstein» who would not have passed the selection, and argued whether companies in 2026 can really afford such complex filters for junior positions.
«A question of logic to weed out the fools. But 14–20k UAH — I don’t even know how relevant it is,» wrote @aketca.
At the time of publication, ROZETKA had not publicly commented on the situation.
