According to Downdetector, the service has recorded an increased number of complaints about Telegram’s performance. Some users are reporting problems connecting, loading chats, and sending messages, which may indicate a large-scale failure in the messenger.
Additional signals about the incident are also recorded by StatusGator. The service indicates problems with downloading the application, connecting, and slow operation of Telegram in various countries, including Ukraine. As of the time of publication, there is no official explanation for the reasons for the failure from the platform itself.
While Telegram has not officially commented on the situation, users can only wait for the service to stabilize. Such outages usually manifest themselves unevenly: for some people, the messenger may open, but not pull up new messages, media, or attachments.
Downdetector shows outages when the number of complaints significantly exceeds the usual level for the service. In the case of Telegram, current user reports concern the messenger’s basic functions — delivering messages, opening chats, and loading media.
