The launch of the representative offices was announced by the Presidential Advisor on Strategic Industries, Alexander Kamyshin, in his Telegram channel. According to him, these offices will become entry points for European customers: they will help with certification, negotiations, organization of demos, service and search for partners for cooperation. The logic is simple: «born in war» solutions that have proven their effectiveness on the battlefield should receive a legal and fast path to EU markets, and export revenues will return to production for the Defense Forces.
The focus of the initiative is the Build with Ukraine program, which involves not only the sale of ready-made systems, but also joint supply chains with European companies: component localization, R&D teams, service centers, personnel training. This format reduces the risks of supply disruptions, speeds up repairs and modernization of equipment, and simplifies compliance with NATO standards: from testing procedures to safety requirements.
A separate effect is expected in the budget: stable export contracts provide predictable tax revenues and allow expanding state purchases of Ukrainian weapons for the front. This is important against the backdrop of the government’s tasks to increase the share of domestic weapons in defense orders and expand the range from UAVs to electronic warfare and precision weapons.
For the Ukrainian defense industry, this is an opportunity to consolidate the reputation of a manufacturer of modern solutions, form a long portfolio of orders, and become less dependent on the pace of foreign aid, converting combat experience into industrial capacity.
