This year, Telegram's revenue exceeded $1 billion, and the company is ending the year with more than $500 million in cash reserves, not including crypto assets, founder Pavel Durov reported on his channel.
“Over the past four years, Telegram has issued about $2 billion in debt. We repaid a significant portion of it this fall, taking advantage of favorable Telegram bond prices. But there is still a lot of work ahead,” Durov added.
According to the company's financial statements, in the first half of 2024, Telegram's revenue reached $525 million , which is 190% more than in the same period in 2023. Of this $525 million in revenue, almost half ($225 million) was received from a one-time transaction in Toncoin from an unknown company for advertising services.
