According to DOU, such plans are related to the scaling of existing and the emergence of new products.
Currently, UPSTARS has 977 employees, the absolute majority of whom, 798, work in Ukraine. The largest share of the team is made up of Junior (37.3%) and Middle (35.4%) level specialists, while Senior/Lead level specialists make up 27,3% of the company.
At the same time, this year’s hiring process will focus on Middle/Senior specialists, as well as leadership roles. Junior specialists will be considered mainly in the Service direction, and the company plans to grow most actively in IT, Service, Media Buying, Product, and Marketing.
«When planning hiring, we rely on the previous year’s data and business goals, forming the Hiring Plan and Hiring Drivers as the basis for the hiring plan for the new year,» said Head of Talent Acquisition Mykyta Tsenev in a comment.
In the IT department, UPSTARS is currently primarily looking for Senior Developers — PHP, Python, .NET, and JavaScript.
Recall that during 2025, the company hired 559 new specialists.
