The expert considered in the Telegram channel as an example «Shahed», which, according to him, arrived yesterday in Ukraine with a new antenna with 16 elements and such circles made of plywood.
«So far, the most relevant idea is to reduce weight to increase flight time. To fly around the country and study how the new antenna fights against electronic warfare,» suggested Serhiy «Flash.»
However, at the same time, the expert asked himself the question: how is information about the flight results of a launched drone transmitted to the Russian Federation?
Serhiy «Flash» ruled out the possibility of data transmission via modems and SIM cards, as the Ukrainian military has long been able to block them. He also suggests that it is unlikely that someone would «leak» information from the «Virazh» program, thanks to which the defenders monitor Ukrainian airspace, can predict the direction of air targets and advance to intercept them in advance.
The expert settled on the option that before getting to Ukraine, the enemy drone winds circles around the Russian Federation. «There, a new antenna is being tested on its own electronic warfare system. Information is transmitted from the board via its mobile network. Therefore, it is not charged. Well, and then at the end it flies to us as a false target,» explained Serhiy «Flash».
