As of September 30, 2024, the company's staff expanded to 53,250 (47,750 IT professionals), which is 600 more than in the second quarter. So, the number of employees increased by 7,950 people in the last three months of last year.
Recall that the second quarter of 2024 showed a decrease in the number of employees by 150 people. That is, then over the next six months the company continued to increase the staff. In total, 61,200 is a record figure, starting from 2022.
Also, regarding the increase in staff, it should be noted that in the fall of 2024, the company acquired the consulting division First Derivative from the Irish FD Technologies, which employed 1,800 employees in different countries around the world. As well as the consulting company NEORIS , which had over 4,700 employees in Latin America, Spain, and the USA.
“We completed the acquisition of NEORIS, creating a competitive offering for clients in Latin America and Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries, while expanding EPAM’s global and offshore services capabilities in Latin America and Europe. We also completed the acquisition of First Derivative, which strengthened EPAM’s consulting and financial services capabilities in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, and expanded our financial services client portfolio,” the report says.
It is also reported that the company's revenues increased to $4.728 billion in 2024, which is $37.4 million, or 0.8%, more than in the previous year. Net profit amounted to $454.5 million, in 2023 it was $417 million. In 2025, EPAM expects revenue to grow by at least 10%.
