«We decided to create our own tool: that’s how mentor.sh was born. A tool that will help mentors present their services, and people looking for a mentor to find their Master Yoda, in order to take the next step in their career or life», — Dima Maleev, an IT expert and well-known IT blogger, noted on his LinkedIn page. Maleev worked on the specified instrument together with his colleague Vlad K.
Maleev added that the tool is currently being «finished» and will be released next year. So he urged those interested to «sign up on the waitlist.»
«I see that people really need mentors. They are searched for on LinkedIn, Facebook, and even on Twitter. And it’s hard. I’m not even sure who is more difficult to find — a mentor or a psychotherapist… The main idea we came to is that mentoring should not be based on luck, but rather it should be a part of life», — explained the premise of the launch of the tool.
We will remind you that in 2022, the «Mentors in the rear» platform was launched in Ukraine, which was supposed to allow receiving consultations from specialists from global companies. The author of the idea, Artur Fedorenko, has been working on its implementation since the beginning of 2022.
