Former head of Google Ukraine joins Netpeak board of directors and deploys AI transformation of the agency
Former head of Google Ukraine (2007–2023) Dmytro Sholomko has joined the strategic board of directors of marketing agency Netpeak. The company directly links this step to accelerating the transition to a technological marketing partner model that builds services around artificial intelligence, not just classic advertising tools.

According to the Netpeak press release, in 2023 the agency switched to management through a board of directors, which initially included only internal partners. Sholomko's invitation is presented as a signal that the business is entering a new level of maturity: a person who was responsible for the development of Google in Ukraine for 16 years and worked at the intersection of technology and digital marketing is being involved in decision-making.
In his role, Dmytro Sholomko focused on two key tasks: AI transformation and product diversification. His approach is that artificial intelligence should be built into the business as a core technology, not as a set of point experiments. To this end, Netpeak created a separate direction with an implementation lead that deals with the implementation of AI into operational processes and team work.
Among the solutions already implemented in the company, Netpeak Aura is called an internal AI tool that helps track communication with clients and respond to risks in projects in a timely manner. Services that accelerate information processing and analysis of team work results have also been launched. In parallel, Netpeak is forming a separate AI direction in the market and is looking for a CEO for an agency that will sell artificial intelligence services to clients as an independent product.
A separate part of the work concerns strengthening technological partnerships. Netpeak emphasizes that statuses such as Google Cloud Partner, YouTube Masters, Meta Media Certified Agency, Google Marketing Platform, Amazon SPN and Amazon DSP are considered a strategic asset. They give the agency and its clients access to beta features, new tools and direct communication with global platforms, which is important in a market where the speed of new advertising opportunities often determines the outcome of campaigns.
The founder of Netpeak Group and FRACTAL, Artem Borodatyuk, explains that the choice of Sholomko was obvious for the company. He combines experience in building Google's Ukrainian office, understanding of digital marketing tools, a love of technology and his own entrepreneurial projects. Netpeak believes that this combination helps the agency establish itself in the niche of a technology leader and move from the role of a classic marketing agency to the role of a partner that builds long-term solutions for clients based on artificial intelligence.
