The developers of the Ukrainian post-apocalyptic visual novel «Shine On, My Little Sun» announced that they have updated the demo project and added the Crimean Tatar language to it.
The game is developed by Ukrainian indie duo Forpixie Studio.
«Unfortunately, there are very few games localized in the Crimean Tatar language — with this step, the developers seek to draw attention to this lacuna in the Ukrainian and global cultural space and honor the Crimean culture» — the developers said in a press release.
In the updated demo, players will also be able to customize fonts for more comfortable reading (including a special font for people with dyslexia). In addition, the authors have updated the artwork and optimized the game.
The «Shine On, My Little Sun» is a coming-of-age story set in a dark post-apocalyptic world. Players will explore the last human settlement, the town of Svarzhne, which survives thanks to the warmth of a star trapped in the city’s lighthouse.
We will remind that «The Sun Lived in the Sky» was announced in the summer of 2024. The game will be a full version of the project, which previously participated in the Ukrainian Visual Novel Jam. The organizer of the jam, the developer Ruslan «Ternox» Salikov, acts as the publisher.
