Nova Digital’s IT team, responsible for developing digital products for Nova Poshta, is actively continuing to hire new specialists. This comes amid massive layoffs at the parent company, which were previously announced. According to DOU, Nova Digital is currently looking for backend and frontend developers, business analysts, and QA specialists.
The team currently employs 960 people. They include programmers, DevOps engineers, testers, product managers, and other technical specialists. The company explains that the reductions in the main departments of Nova Poshta have allowed it to focus resources on key areas, including digital transformation.
Among the projects Nova Digital is working on are mobile applications for customers and couriers, a business office, the RouteStripe routing system, a cloud solution for outsourced cybersecurity (SOC-as-a-service), a video surveillance platform with AI analytics, and geofencing tools.
The company plans to expand the team and launch new product initiatives in the second quarter of 2025. At the time of publication, Nova Digital had 17 open positions.
Information about large-scale layoffs at Nova Poshta appeared back in June. It is known that employees of the PR and marketing departments, in particular, were affected by the optimization. Internal communications spoke of a possible halving of the company’s staff.
