Ringostat tests AI capabilities before hiring new employees. Ringostat reveals how automation is changing hiring, team productivity, and KPIs
Ringostat has a rule of thumb: if an AI solution costs about a quarter of the cost of hiring a new employee, it’s worth testing. That’s why the phrase “we need one more person” now becomes a reason to look for automation opportunities first. The company even created a separate AI Productivity Team for this purpose. Its task is to find the routine that takes up the most time of employees and figure out whether it’s profitable to transfer it to AI.

Maksymenyuk spoke about this in a column for Forbes Ukraine.
According to the company's founder, Oleksandr Maksymenyuk, the results are already in. AI has already helped quadruple the productivity of the QA team, save hundreds of working hours, and automate communication with customers.
When Ringostat developers started using AI more actively, they started completing tasks faster. It would seem that new product features should also be released much faster. But it turned out that testers were not keeping up with the developers.
Then the company started automating QA. In particular, testers started using Claude to prepare checklists — lists of what needs to be checked in the product. Previously, one checklist took about two hours, now it takes only half an hour. For 200 tasks per month, this saves 300 working hours
The changes have also affected sales. The company is gradually transferring the work of first-line salespeople to AI. However, more complex conversations, where you need to understand the client's problem or convince them to make a purchase, are still left to humans.
Ringostat has also developed an AI voice agent for businesses that use its services. According to the company, it independently processed over 137,000 calls in 2026. The cost of processing routine calls has decreased by 5–10 times thanks to automation, according to Maksymenyuk.
Maksymenyuk believes that the implementation of AI should be accompanied by a review of team performance indicators. In his opinion, if employees complete tasks faster thanks to automation, the company should increase the requirements for their productivity accordingly. Otherwise, the time saved may not bring tangible benefits to the business.
Previously, dev.ua wrote that Ringostat reached breakeven in 2026. According to FRACTAL founder Artem Borodatyuk, the company had been operating at a loss for several years in order to grow faster.
