The Ukrainian company «Robotizovani Komplexi» presented the innovative ground drone «Triminer» at the IDEF 2025 exhibition in Turkey. This is a mine-laying drone, the design of which is completely devoid of welds and allows mines to be placed directly in the wheels.
According to Ukrinform, the Triminer weighs 80 kg and is capable of carrying three anti-tank mines with a total mass of up to 35 kg. The drone is remotely controlled, has a range of up to 10 km and runs on conventional batteries. Thanks to a rotating mechanism, it performs precise discharge of charges. The cost of the basic version is approximately UAH 120,000.
The company’s founder, Igor Chaykivsky, explains that the drone’s wheels act as explosive storage, which allows it to shift the center of gravity closer to the ground. This solution is borrowed from military practices dating back to the times of the Roman Empire. This design increases the platform’s stability and cross-country ability.
The peculiarity of the Triminer is its modularity. Due to the absence of welding, the body is easy to assemble and repair. The drone can perform not only mining functions, but also transform into a logistics platform or a kamikaze drone. The built-in night vision camera allows it to work in the dark.
In parallel, the company launched the Murakha tracked drone into mass production, capable of transporting up to 500 kg of cargo over a distance of 40 km. Its transmission with one motor drives two tracks, and the cooling system elements, batteries and electrical connections are of its own design.
The «Ivy» telecommunications drone with a 10-meter mast has also been created on the basis of «Murakha». Two more new models are in development: «Mantis» and «Magpie». The company has not yet disclosed details about them.
The IDEF exhibition is one of the largest platforms for demonstrating defense technologies, annually gathering over 1,500 participants from more than 50 countries around the world. The participation of Ukrainian engineers in such events demonstrates the growing role of robotic systems in modern warfare.
