Wantent, an AI startup for analyzing viewer reactions to video content, co-founded and CEO of which is former Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute student Oleksiy Shaldenko, announced the business’s plans for 2025.
Wantent is preparing to release a SaaS version of the product, which customers will be able to use independently. The release of the new product is planned for spring 2025, writes Forbes, citing the words of Oleksiy Shaldenko. The new product should be about half the price of the existing video testing algorithms used by the AI startup.
According to available data, testing a short video costs $5,000-10,000, and a large project costs up to $10,000-30,000.

Over time, Wantent plans to replace live viewers, whose reactions are analyzed while watching video content, with a synthetic audience and digital portraits of viewers created using artificial intelligence.
Oleksiy Shaldenko called the next stage of the startup’s development personalized advertising created using AI for each user. Emotional Intelligence Engine, a new product that is still being developed, will be able to analyze video content and viewer reactions and embed advertising for them directly while watching an ad or movie.
«We validated this with Gartner, they say this could be the next wave of advertising personalization,» says Shaldenko.
By the end of 2024, Wantent, with attracted investments of $1 million, was valued at $10 million. In 2025, the startup plans to generate revenue of up to $6 million. During the next Series A round, Wantent aims to attract financing of at least $5 million from American institutional investors or venture capital units of large media groups.

Тест dev.ua
