The company has announced a selection of 20 vacancies for its generative AI laboratory and is looking for specialists who will help build applied solutions based on modern models: from word processing tools to «smart» business assistants.
According to DOU, SoftServe has three research areas: Robotics, NVIDIA Lab, and Generative AI Lab. The latter has grown tenfold in two years and has about 150 engineers and scientists; approximately 60% of the team works in Ukrainian offices. There are currently 20 positions open in Ukraine and about 30 worldwide. The company is looking for people with experience in generative AI, natural language processing, cloud technologies, and in creating AI agents (assistant agents that can perform a sequence of tasks). They are also considering specialists in «classical» machine learning who want to move to generative approaches.
The recruitment is not for a single contract, but for the laboratory’s long-term programs. Among them are Agentic Engineering (creation of managed AI assistants), Meta Agent (orchestration of several assistants that cooperate with each other), and Gen AI Research. In parallel, the team leads internal initiatives and commercial projects for clients. The greatest demand is for specialists in Generative AI and NLP, as well as product managers and heads of engineering teams who are able to collect requirements, break down the task into stages, and bring it from a prototype to a stable service.

The company emphasizes that it is not the names of the tools that are important, but the ability to explain the solution simply, write reliable code, and work with data responsibly.
Generative AI is quickly moving from pilots to daily processes: businesses are asking for «human-language» searches of corporate documents, automatic summaries, and assistants who perform routine steps themselves. It is to these requests that SoftServe is expanding its team and offering candidates work on a long range of tasks: from research to productive service.
