The startup B2beings with its Portality product won the Demo Day YEP Accelerator in Kyiv. The team received $25,000 without transferring a stake in the company, as well as additional opportunities to participate in other startup competitions and develop the product.
According to a press release from YEP Accelerator, the final pitching of the program took place on February 20. The winner was B2beings with its Portality product, which the team describes as a service for automating work in supply chains. Simply put, it is a tool that helps companies organize interaction with partners and supply processes in a single digital environment, rather than through disparate spreadsheets, emails, and messengers.
In a press release, B2beings CEO Yuriy Glushakov noted that after completing the acceleration program, the team plans to focus on scaling sales in B2B Agro Retail, start building a network of Portality partners and integrators, and prepare the company for a pre-seed round. In addition to the main cash prize, the startup also received an automatic passage to the semi-finals of the IT Arena Startup Competition and three months of free residency at Lift99 Kyiv Hub.
In the final of Demo Day, six more teams presented their solutions: DigitalBPM, Revenli, Relt it, EssentifyGym, LexChain and Connecto. Some of the participants received additional bonuses from partners. In particular, DigitalBPM, NGI Group and LexChain won tickets to Latitude59 in Estonia, where they will be able to present their products at an international technology conference.
The jury included representatives of Ukrainian and international funds and venture players, including UMAEF, Vesna Capital, Geek Ventures, Flyer One Ventures, Network VC, Toloka VC, and Startup Autobahn by Plug and Play. Speakers at the event included Dan Tyre, one of the first employees of HubSpot, and Obriy AI CEO Vyacheslav Shestakovsky.
YEP Accelerator is one of the most prominent Ukrainian programs for early-stage startups, where teams undergo acceleration, prepare pitches for investors, and gain access to a partner network. In this set, the program’s investment partner was the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund, and partners included Ukrainian Startup Fund, Cisco, Genesis, and Lift99 Kyiv Hub.
