According to DOU, citing a post on Facebook by the Kyiv State Emergency Service, the business center in Podilskyi district, where the Wargaming office is located, was damaged. Head of the Kyiv State Emergency Service Timur Tkachenko reported that only civilian objects in Podilskyi, Obolonskyi, and Desnyanskyi districts were hit.
The State Emergency Service specifies the consequences. In the Podilskyi district, a fire was extinguished in an apartment on the first floor of a five-story building and several cars in the yard, residents were evacuated. In another building, the roof and two apartments on the eighth floor were partially destroyed, the facade and glazing of a kindergarten were damaged. Separately, rescuers extinguished fires at warehouses at several addresses and fires in two cars near a five-story building.
In the Desnyansky district, a UAV hit the 21st floor of a 24-story residential building without detonation, and at another address, a drone hit an unfinished building. More than a hundred rescuers and 27 pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the consequences. According to the KMVA, civilian objects were the main targets of this strike. Law enforcement officers are documenting the crimes, rescuers report seven injuries and the complete elimination of the fires by morning.
Wargaming is an international developer known for the World of Tanks series. The company’s Kyiv office has been operating in the capital for many years and involves local specialists in global projects.
