The decision was announced by People’s Deputy Honcharenko on his Telegram channel. 283 parliamentarians voted «in favor» of bill No. 13335. The document applies to employees of defense-industrial complex enterprises and organizations that ensure the operation of critical infrastructure.
These are cases where the employee does not have a military registration document, has an incorrectly completed record, is not on military registration, or has not clarified personal data. In such a situation, the employer will be able to obtain a deferment for his employee for a period of up to one and a half months so that he has time to correct the documents.
In addition, deputies shortened the deadline for submitting amendments to prepare the bill for the second reading. This should speed up the adoption of the document and make the reservation process less bureaucratic.
The issue of deferrals from mobilization has repeatedly caused public resonance, in particular among the IT business. Earlier, the government changed its approach to the reservation mechanism, giving critical companies the opportunity to submit lists of employees directly, without the mediation of state bodies. This has already allowed to optimize the procedure for companies that provide the economy and the digital sphere of the country.
The topic of reservations is especially relevant for the Ukrainian IT sector, which remains one of the key export industries. Previously, dev.ua wrote about how, according to the results of surveys, a significant part of IT professionals are thinking about emigration: more than 30% of specialists would like to leave the country in the coming years. This creates risks for both business and the state, which seeks to retain qualified personnel within the country.
