The NOVA technology unit, part of the 3rd Armored Brigade, is expanding its team and looking for IT specialists to develop its own ecosystem for controlling ground robotic complexes and automating processes.
According to DOU, the unit explains the recruitment by scaling and the need to develop software for the NRC more quickly based on feedback directly from combat units. They also cite indicators of the use of robotic systems in logistics: in 2025, the NRC delivered over 450,000 kg of ammunition and provisions and evacuated 240 fighters.
Among the IT vacancies, NOVA has opened three key positions. The first is a backend developer: he will be responsible for the server part of the NRC management system, adding new features and supporting existing modules. The requirements indicate experience in backend development, knowledge of Go and or Python or the willingness to quickly master them, as well as an understanding of how to build a system from several separate services that work together. Experience with databases and tools for automatic deployment and updating of programs is also required.
The second position is a frontend developer. His task is to develop a web application through which operators and engineers interact with the system: design and add new screens and scripts, maintain already implemented functionality. The requirements mention React and TypeScript or the willingness to quickly master them, as well as work with git and automatic product update processes.
The third role is DevOps or Network Engineer. He will be involved in infrastructure: configuring deployment processes, maintaining the network and VPN, administering Linux servers. The requirements indicate experience with Kubernetes and Helm, as well as an understanding of the principles of building CI/CD.
In addition to IT vacancies, the unit is looking for NRC operators, signalers, NRC masters, SMM managers and other specialties. The conditions include mobilization until the end of martial law or a contract, possible transfer of active military personnel with the consent of the commander, as well as service for candidates with the status of SZCH. Monetary support is announced from 50,000 UAH depending on the task and place of service, the service will be held in the IT department of the NOVA unit.
NOVA is developing its own software for managing NRCs, which take on some of the combat logistics and evacuation.
