Volodymyr Mnogoletny: "I don't really like the term "innovation" because it's not clear what it actually means"

«I don’t really like the term 'innovation' because it’s not always clear what it really means. In my opinion, the correct term is whether a company can build something new, whether it can quickly do tests and use the results of these tests to build a business,» emphasized the CEO of Genesis during a panel at the NV event «Ukraine is Changing the World. What Opportunities Are Opening Up?»

Volodymyr Mnogoletny added that the future of Ukraine for the next five to ten years is to have several large companies that will produce export products. He gave the example of Eastern European countries, where there are several large export companies, and the Baltic countries, where there are about 10 large startups.

In addition, the businessman noted that this is how Genesis currently operates — 100% of the company’s revenue is from export markets. «We are now operating as a large export company. We have no revenue in Ukraine and most of our products have been free for Ukrainians since the start of the full-scale war,» added Volodymyr Mnogoletny.
