The cold November evening, when the Russians once again released more than a hundred Shaheds to leave the Ukrainians without electricity, turned out to be colder than ever. For Olga and her husband, the densely populated area of the capital Poznyaki, as well as for tens of thousands of locals, has become like a continuous dark spot, where the headlights of cars are flashing here and there. Most of the locals, although they have power banks, lamps or alternative power sources from past years' experience, are unlikely to be able to have a delicious dinner at home. After all, 25-story buildings are fully electrified, without gas. That is, to heat at least tea or cook something nowadays, as well as to go up to the quartile without an elevator at all, is a task with an asterisk. The big hope for residents of high-rise buildings during blackouts is generator-equipped shops and catering establishments, where you can drink hot coffee, eat a freshly baked panini and charge your phone. For Olga and her husband, the closest such source of stable light is the ATB store in the area, where, despite many hours of power outages, everything works. dev.ua visited the store and found out how ATB stability islands work in Poznyaki, the capital, and beyond.
