A team of Ukrainian schoolchildren led by a 15-year-old CEO has created an augmented reality mobile application called Firselp, which teaches users how to provide first aid in critical situations. Project leader Dmytro Palamarchuk, who just finished 9th grade, told dev.ua about the service, which aims to make basic first aid knowledge accessible, understandable, and effective even during times of stress.

In early June, the startup Neomi, which develops artificial intelligence that automatically buys products for the user, received its first commercial partnership — it began helping customers of the Varus supermarket chain with their purchases. dev.ua spoke with Neomi CEO and founder Dmytro Lilik, who recently presented the startup at Viva Technology in Paris, and learned more about the ambitions to create a food AI assistant for millions of people.

Igor Denyak has been teaching computer science at school No. 5, Horishni Plavni, since 2018, where they study science and mathematics in depth. The main difference of his developments is the combination of entertainment and benefit, so that children develop at the same time while playing. His students became a source of inspiration and new ideas, as well as the first testers.

Arseny Hofman, a native of Aitutaki with 18 years of experience, created a platform for matching people based on interests. Here, people are looking for companions for going to the movies, communicating in English, and even gossiping. «Adults usually have a hard time finding friends. Many people find it difficult to write to/approach someone. But that person won’t be interested? You don’t want to waste that person’s time, and yours too, on communication that no one needs. That’s why I created the hvirtka website. The point is that you see what specific people want. And the fact that they registered on hvirtka automatically means that they are interested in communicating with other people and potentially making friends,» wrote Arseniy Hofman, a developer with 18 years of experience, on LinkedIn. Together with his partner, lawyer Alex Snyadanko, Arseniy created a service where you can find a friend or companion for all occasions. dev.ua talked to Arseniy and found out many interesting details of the project.
