Working as a recruiter, I communicate with dozens of candidates every day. We talk about their experience, career expectations, professional motivation. I know very well how exciting each stage of the selection process can be: from the first call to the final interview. For a candidate, it is always an investment of time, energy, and even emotions. Unfortunately, the market still has the practice of «silence after the interview.» The candidate waits, but does not receive any answer. After all, it is these qualities that distinguish Ada from other programming languages, and it is for these reasons that it is used to develop military software and large complex projects in the USA and Europe. And what is the fate of Ada in Ukrainian IT? To find out the answer to this question, we talked to Oleksandr Korochkin, a candidate of technical sciences, who is the initiator of teaching Ada in Ukrainian universities, with the Head of Engineering of the Ukrainian MilTech company Athlon Avia, which uses this language for its developments, as well as with programmers who work at AdaCore, a manufacturer of software development tools for Ada.
