The Mogilev-Podilskyi City District Court of Vinnytsia Oblast found a Ukrainian programmer, who works as a senior developer at Ubisoft, guilty of attempting to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine.

For Olga Chirkova, who until recently was a frontend developer and software engineer, the IT field had long seemed like a safe space — growth, education, high income. However, it was just an illusion. After forced emigration and dismissal from work, the former IT worker found herself without a stable income and was forced to start from scratch, this time not in code, but in psychology. Studying psychology began as a way to help herself during a difficult period in her life. Over time, it turned into a new profession.
