In today’s digital environment, most products and services are powered by financial models. That’s why there’s a growing need for clear, unified approaches to protecting such data. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) addresses this need—an initiative that companies around the world have been supporting and implementing since 2004 to minimize risk and combat financial fraud.

The Ministry of Digital Affairs’s intentions to create its own artificial intelligence that would understand Ukrainians better than ChatGPT initially caused only surprise and smiles, but only a few months have passed from words to real actions and it seems that this desire cannot be stopped. Does Ukraine really need its own large-scale language model? What benefits will citizens receive from this? LLC "Science Park "Zhytomyr Polytechnic" was officially registered on August 23, 2023. Operationally, the park is developing at the expense of its own revenues: as of December 2024, its income reached UAH 3 million. This year, an increase in income by 50% is expected. The park invests all the money earned in the development of new projects. The Science Park received significant support from the investment company BGV Group Management of Gennady Butkevych, which provided equipment for laboratories worth over 100,000 euros. Currently, the park team is creating projects for universities, business, and sports, including an online management platform for universities, an interactive sports simulator, application development, 3D printer production, and more.

In the Ukrainian tech sector, it is not uncommon for startups to be co-founded not just by business partners, but also by life partners — married couples or people in relationships. Sometimes such projects have grown into powerful players or even leaders in their market — examples of Rozetka, founded by Vladyslav and Iryna Chechotkin, or Mate Academy, co-founded by the couple Anna and Roman Apostol, are illustrative. Much has been written about these businesses, but right now, let’s focus on marriage-partner startups with Ukrainian roots. Whether they will ultimately be truly successful or will end up in the «startup graveyard» is a matter of personal preference.
