She became the first girl from Kharkiv to climb the highest mountain in the world and did it up to 7,000 meters without additional oxygen from a cylinder. Game developer Ruslan «Ternox» Salikov, known for the game STONKS-9800, said that his older project Legend of Himari has become the target of fraudulent schemes selling items on Steam at significantly inflated prices. Affected players do not receive help from the service’s technical support, which redirects them to the game’s author, although he does not have the tools to solve such problems.

Digitalization has brought incredible changes. They concern not only certain professional areas, for example, banking, but also in general — our idea of \u200b\u200blearning, development, decision-making, even the future. And if we mean Ukraine, then we should talk about the future at the intersection of technology and education.

Destroyed or damaged property is a daily headache for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians due to Russian aggression and constant missile and drone attacks. And if in the event of destruction or damage to housing, people have the opportunity to use the «eRecovery» program, which has been in effect since 2023, then in situations when trouble befalls a car, you can only rely on yourself. Last week, we wrote about the experience of IT professionals and other representatives of the technosphere, who, unfortunately, had to check firsthand how the «eReconstruction» program works. They told us about the numerous difficulties and «pitfalls» that awaited them. However, be that as it may, the program works and, despite all the disadvantages, helps people restore their own homes.

What is tokenomics: how to create an economy in crypto projects
When Bitcoin was launched in 2009, it was no longer the first attempt at creating digital money, but blockchain technology, which combined cryptography and decentralization, made it a fundamentally new phenomenon. At the time, few people thought that it had its own economic model, backed by strict algorithms, but it was precisely this factor that made BTC a truly powerful asset.

It would seem like a futile task to assemble FPV drones for the needs of the Defense Forces in sunny Portugal, but a union of Ukrainian IT workers has banded together to attract local residents to help Ukraine. And all this despite the Russians' attempts to sabotage the volunteers' activities. The founder and communications officer of DroneAid Porto told dev.ua about the peculiarities of fundraising in Portugal, what amounts locals donate and how DroneAid manages to attract new supporters.

Code of Ethics for Artificial Intelligence: What the European Approach Means for Ukrainian Business
Artificial intelligence is no longer a futuristic concept, but an everyday practice. It helps sell, forecast, process documents, analyze risks, and even… fire people. But the question that worries not only regulators but also businesses today is: can AI act ethically? And who will be responsible if it doesn’t?

Will the risk of "invisible" casino advertising in the media increase? We asked the Ministry of Digital Economy 5 questions about the work of the new gambling regulator PlayCity. Here's what they answered
An important issue in the reform of the gambling sector: how to maintain transparency in the regulation of casino advertising on the Internet. With the emergence of a new body, PlayCity, which is managed by a single authorized person (unlike the collegial KRAIL), the issue of control over advertising activities becomes even more acute. Especially considering the new legislative norms on gambling advertising, where partial permission for casino advertising in the media can have an imperceptible but significant impact on the audience. Does this not pose additional risks of hidden advertising and impact on vulnerable groups of society? This issue arouses keen public interest. We have contacted the Ministry of Digital Affairs for an official assessment. The answers are given in the original so as not to distort the meaning of the interpretation.

Which jurisdiction to choose for IT companies in 2026: analysis of Estonia, Cyprus and the USA
What jurisdiction? — The answer is always in your business model: where are your customers, how do they pay money, where you as the owner or CEO are physically located and plan to live in the future, how complex an operational structure is your team ready to support, how and where do you want to develop? Are you building a structure to accumulate profit without withdrawal, or do you just need convenient integration with Stripe, customers in the US and a product focused on venture investments, or vice versa — are you creating an MVP and need a quick exit abroad for testing. In 2026, starting an IT company is no longer about lower taxes. They will be there and they will increase over time, so every year the attractiveness and riskiness of certain countries changes, and new opportunities open up. Let’s analyze three countries that are consistently popular among IT professionals — Estonia, Cyprus, and the USA (Delaware) — and find out whether they retain their business appeal.

Less than a week remains until the main national holiday — Independence Day. For some reason, I remembered how for decades Russians ironically and mockingly called Ukraine «independent», trying to neutralize this very concept and once again remind us that without an inadequate and extremely abusive «big brother» behind our backs, we have no chance. Perhaps somewhere our Independence was indeed purely formal — for example, in the technological and defense sectors. The latter had been stagnant for a long time in a dark transition, one side of which rested against a dense, but already dilapidated «scoop», and the other led to a bright European progressive technological future. Oddly enough, it was the full-scale war that forced a rapid leap towards the light, putting the very existential survival of the Ukrainian nation at stake.

"Please make a will in "Diia". The Ministry of Digital Affairs is already digitizing notary services, and in some countries of the world a will can be drawn up online. Should Ukrainians wait for an e-Will?
A netizen suggested that First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov do the service of drawing up a will at Diia, and he was surprised by such an idea. «I thought I couldn’t be surprised with ideas anymore,» the official wrote. dev.ua investigated whether such a service is needed in Ukraine and whether there is a practice of drawing up wills online in the world. Currently, the possibility of drawing up a will online depends on the legislation of a particular country, and in most countries of the world, including Ukraine, drawing up a will in a fully online format is not widespread or legally recognized. However, in some countries there are partially digital procedures or platforms that allow you to draw up a will online, but they usually still require notarization or another form of official confirmation.

13505 is a beautiful, almost magical number. Bill No. 13505, introduced to the Verkhovna Rada, provides for a ban on the use of software created in an aggressor country. Its adoption, at first glance, should finally close the issue of 1 °C, a platform that has been the standard for accounting and tax accounting in Ukraine for decades.
