Linkos Group: 25 years together with business
2025 marked the 25th year of operation on the Ukrainian market for the Linkos Group team. During this time, everything has changed: rules, technologies, business scales, and even the very understanding of how the state and entrepreneurs can interact with each other. One thing has remained unchanged — the need for simple, reliable, and understandable digital tools.
It was around it that Linkos Group’s products developed all this time: they grew together with entrepreneurs, went through crises, adapted to new requirements, and gradually became part of the country’s digital infrastructure.

"I spend no more than 5 euros a day. That's including gasoline." The story of an IT guy who has been living in a tent on an island in the middle of the ocean for over six months and is building his dream house with his own hands
Serhiy Aityvets celebrated Christmas 5,000 km from Kyiv, on an island where he is building a house with his own hands. He previously worked in a number of technical positions, at the mobile operator Kyivstar, the global technology company Dreamscape Networks, and several Ukrainian government agencies, while also working on freelance projects in the IT sector.
But now the IT guy is implementing the most unusual personal life project — without outside help, he is trying to restore the ruins of a house on an island in the Atlantic Ocean. São Miguel is one of the Azores islands with the capital Ponta Delgada, and the hero of this article has been living in a village about 30 km from the capital since April of this year.

Kyiv in the 1970s: How the Soviet “Silicon Valley” Grown Ukrainian IT
Perhaps every professional programmer's story begins long before a person sits down at a computer for the first time or writes the first line of code. The story of IT-Enterprise co-founder Volodymyr Mikhailov began in Kyiv in the 1970s, in a city that would have had every chance of becoming the Soviet Silicon Valley if not for the imperial realities of that era. It was an environment where children's games were intertwined with adult engineering conversations, and the words "computer", "ASUV" and "Institute of Cybernetics" sounded not like science fiction, but as part of everyday life...

Digital solutions in action — how Ukraine is creating cities of the future
In 1941, Great Britain began mass-producing penicillin, in 1943, the United States first used a disposable syringe and created a prototype of an electronic computer. These are just a few of the solutions that humanity invented during World War II. Until then, such inventions were considered impossible, but today they have become an integral part of our lives.
Challenges push us to change. Threats force us to look for new solutions.
10 years of development, dozens of freelancers and no budget. How the biggest Lord of the Rings game modification was created
10 years of development, dozens of freelancers and no budget. How the biggest Lord of the Rings game modification was created
The Lord of the Rings has a huge fan base around the world, not only because of the work of the same name by J. R. R. Tolkien, but also because of Peter Jackson's phenomenal film adaptation, which won 17 Oscars and still holds the record for the highest-grossing film of all time. As for video game adaptations, they experimented with different genres: from online MMO-RPGs to strategies with varying levels of quality. Most of the games came out after the films and have since become technically and morally obsolete. The latest game was released in 2017, and the developer's studio Monolith Productions was closed by Warner Bros. Games this year, and the Warner Bros. gaming division itself is in limbo after a deal with Netflix . Fans have taken matters into their own hands and are creating various modifications for other games that transform them into the world of Middle-earth. However, only a single group of enthusiast modders managed to reverse engineer Total War: Attila and, after more than 10 years of hard work, have created a dream game - a turn-based strategy with battles of thousands of orcs, uruks, elves and humans in real time based on the works of Tolkien called Dawnless Days. We tell you about the largest modification ever made for Total War with comments from the developers.
