“The former boss said that if her new employers see this note, she could lose her job.” Does LinkedIn publicity help to eliminate salary arrears? Three cases from the tech sector
Despite all the rich epithets about self-development, vocation, team atmosphere, and «kindred spirit,» the main motivator in any job remains salary. Its timely and full payment is the «base.» And if this condition is violated, not everyone will want to continue working with such an employer.
But what to do when salary debts accumulate, but it seems like no one is thinking of paying them? Everyone has the right in this situation to go to court, but this involves a lot of time, expenses (after all, it is difficult to cope on your own without a lawyer) and nerves, so not everyone goes this route.

Journalists found out that the funds that Nazariy received as a result of the meetings allegedly significantly exceeded the needs for his treatment, not to mention the fact that part of the medications were provided by the Lviv City Council.

A successful team is an environment where people want to stay, grow, and invest. Today’s IT market is not only a competition for talent, but also a battle to retain it. Companies spend thousands of dollars on hiring each new specialist, and if they leave after 6–9 months, that investment is lost and the team can feel the drain of experience, trust, and rhythm.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the area potentially contaminated with explosives is 139,000 km² — larger than the size of Greece. The speed of cleaning directly depends on the availability of equipment, and until recently it was not produced in Ukraine. In a conversation with dev.ua, the director of XTI Engineering Vadym Anosov and the managing director of the machine-building group Igor Tkachuk tell how, after the deoccupation of the Kharkiv region, they assembled the first prototype of a deminer in four months, how the Ukrainian machine "GART 5100" differs from foreign analogues, how testing with explosions is carried out, what has changed in cooperation with the state, and what the demining market looks like in Ukraine and the world.

I went to the AI conference for you. Here are the three faces of AI: agriculture, factory, ministry
ML engineers are people who negotiate every day with raw data, broken pipelines, and a reality that stubbornly refuses to invest in metrics. And the most painful thing about all this is that when the model finally works, no one understands how much effort, crutches, and workarounds went into it. That’s why it’s worth watching the recording of the case studies from the conference — because in AI, as in life, it’s better to learn from someone else’s mistakes than to make your own.

Impostor Syndrome in an Interview: How to Recognize and Not Lose a Strong Candidate
Sometimes, even before the first question, you feel like you have a strong candidate in front of you. Experience, understanding, logic — everything is in place. But there seem to be doubts between the words. The voice trembles, phrases begin with «I probably can’t» or «I was just helping out there» (although in reality the candidate was managing the project).

Interview with the Liki24.com team: why they returned to automation and how they implemented CRM
The Ukrainian service Liki24.com is well known to consumers as a platform for delivering medicines. At the same time, the company is actively developing the B2B direction, cooperating with pharmaceutical manufacturers, who get the opportunity to promote their brands on commercial terms in the Ukrainian market.
After abandoning the previous service, the team worked without a CRM for some time, keeping track of customers manually. But as the number of deals and tasks grew, it became clear that returning to a system solution was necessary for effective scaling.
In this interview, Oleksandr Duschak (Head of Brand promotion & Partner success department), Nadiya Namesnik (Partner Growth manager) and Andriy Kabachenko (Business Development Manager) tell us how they chose CRM, implemented it, and what processes they managed to simplify.

On the eve of the war itself, we moved to another office. And already there, realizing that something was definitely going to happen, everyone agreed that if there was to be a war, it would be mostly digital — a cyberwar of technology. And within a few days, we all realized how wrong we were.

After the full-scale invasion began, a team of Ukrainian volunteer engineers faced a new challenge: the massive use of enemy drones on the battlefield. To counter this threat, in 2022, enthusiasts began developing the first anti-drone rifles on the most common frequencies (2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz, and 900 MHz). However, over time, the enemy began to use non-standard frequencies, and to cover new ranges, modules had to be added, which made the rifles bulky and reduced their battery life. It became obvious: a qualitatively new solution with a greater range and more flexible functionality was needed.

Whether it’s a new startup or a long-term project, internal or outsourced, in any IT project, the team starts with an estimate — it assesses the necessary resources, costs and deadlines. This can be done by various specialists: business analysts, sales managers, product and project managers, as well as direct task performers — developers, designers, testers, DevOps, etc.

What negatives monopolization of any sphere brings — it is unnecessary to explain, it is obvious even to people without a specialized economic education. Of course, many nuances depend on the specific domain, but basically — the risks are the same.
After talking to a number of experts and participants in the Ukrainian govtech market — both publicly and off rec — the dev.ua journalist heard a number of stories about how Ukrainian state bodies found themselves in a monopoly dependence on those companies that supply them with software, as well as develop and maintain specialized IT systems.
