However, he did not change his mind and did not sell the assets — in December 2024, when the BTC rate at that moment exceeded the $104,000 mark (50% higher than the 2021 highs), he recorded an answer to all his skeptics. By law, Adams couldn’t receive his payments in digital assets, so his salary was converted on the Coinbase exchange and only then received in his personal wallet in the form of Bitcoin and Ethereum. As of 2025, the situation in the legal field has practically not changed — which raises the question: Could cryptocurrency wages become the standard of our future?
