A biotech startup has a bold idea for an alternative to animal testing: insensitive «organ bags.» In the future, this could turn into bodioids. These are brainless (or nearly brainless) structures that will replace human bodies as they age and wear out.

A few years ago, any appeal to city services followed the same scenario. Visits, queues, piles of papers, certificates from various institutions, lack of a clear route. People spent hours and days, but they perceived it as the norm. Not because it was convenient, but because the system did not work otherwise.

There are currently about 18 million registered freelancers and up to a million customer companies on Upwork. On the one hand, such figures indicate huge opportunities and an unrealistically wide choice, but on the other hand, in this «Babylonian maze», despite the growing demand for quality services, it is increasingly difficult for the customer and the performer to find each other. The problem is the mechanics of lead generation, which has turned into a tiring routine and eats up resources, leaving both parties at a loss. Ukrainian IT professionals, some of whom themselves have significant experience of interacting with Upwork, offer the product Convertix.io, which, in their words, can untie this «Gordian knot.»

The answers to these questions were given to dev.ua by Serhiy Bondarenko, CEO of Skywell, a serial IT entrepreneur and investor. Over 18 years in business, he has launched and developed companies, invested in startups, and is now building an educational project for entrepreneurs, Scale Academy.
